In 1948 Fremantle Municipal Tramways bodied this AEC Regal III themselves for their fleet number 15. It passed to the MTT in 1960 but was not operated by them but sold to the Eastern Goldfields Transport Board in Kalgoorlie, later being acquired for use as a motorhome. It is still in need of some TLC.
