Devon General Leyland Atlantean Metro Cammell 872
Back to Devon in August the following year had 1959 Metro-Cammell bodied Leyland Atlantean 872 (872ATA) in service. Devon General was an early adopter of the rear engined Atlantean, though continued to patronise the AEC Regent V front engined models.

Devon General Bristol VRTSL3 ECW 584
ECW bodied Bristol VRTSL3 584 (VDV123S) portrays a poetic licence as far as its livery is concerned. It was delivered in NBC poppy red and white, spent a while in a wrap for Tescos, but ended up in 1989 working for Moffat & Williamson in Scotland, from whence it was rescued for preservation in 2003 so the only past of its livery which is genuine is the white NBC style fleetnames.
