Devon General Bayside Ford Transit Carlyle 519
Devon General was one of the first NBC companies to be privatised. Under Harry Blundred it had also been a pioneer of high frequency minibus operation using the Ford Transit. Minibus 519 (C519FFJ) has conversion bodywork by Carlyle Works, the former Midland Red plant in Birmingham and is seen on display at the Cardiff Centenary Rally in 2003 in the capital city.

Devon General Bayside Ford Transit Carlyle 526
Identical 526 (C526FFJ) appeared later in the year at Duxford for SHOWBUS international. Both buses sport the "Bayside" name in lieu of Devon General. This was one of several identities and liveries deployed on the compzny's new minibus services. Both vehicles had body frames made by Dormobile.

Devon General Ford Transit Carlyle 760
Preserved Transit 760 (C760FFJ) is seen between downpours at the 2008 North Weald bus rally.

Stagecoach Devon Iveco Mellor
Eventually Harry Blundred disposed of his various bus interests around the world to Stagecoach and for some time Stagecoach Devon retained the distinctive route liveries favoured by Transit Holdings for city routes in Exeter. This Mellor bodied Iveco had not succombed to Stagecoach stripes in October 1997.

BETs at Showbus 2013
Marshall bodied AEC Reliance 9 (9RDV) was displayed alongside fellow BET subsidiary Ribble's Weymann bodied Leyland Leopard 811 (ARN811C) at SHOWBUS 2013 at Stratford-upon-Avon. The Ribble bus is dual purpose and hints at what a DP Devon General livery might have looked like.
