Alder Valley 401 (CBL355B) was originally Thames Valley S306 and spent most of its life on the Oxford - Reading route. With the unusual high pitched T-style destination indicator, the three 54 seaters were imposing machines. The bus is seen at the 1975 SHOWBUS rally in full NBC livery.

 Hillingdon Showbuses were a time for Alder Valley and Thames Valley buses to come together, particularly to pose for photos at the end of the weekend. Here K6A 446 (DBL154) is seen with Thames Valley LWL6B 616 (GJB254), one of the first three RELLs, a new VRTSL6G, 907 (HPK507N) and an Alder Valley liveried Loline.  |
