East Lancs bodied Dennis Dominator 79 (B79MJF) displays an experimental livery, as First cast around for a corporate livery. This one is somewhat reminiscent of Highland Omnibuses. The scheme was abandoned, though it was at one time remoured as not only for fleet wide application at Leicester but for all First group fleets for their 'non-barbie' buses. The bus also carries route branding for the new Blue Line route.

Adding further colour to the Leicester fleet, and introducing Volvo Olympian doubledeckers to run alongside the Dominators, was one of several First Glasgow Alexander bodied models.

Another Glasgow Olympian, former VO83, and another colour scheme. Promoting the new Yellow Line city route 183 (P183TGD) is seen awaiting refuelling at the depot alongside a Duple 300 bodied Dennis Falcon. An East Lancs Dominator was also seen in this livery, but without the fading of the yellow into the white.
