Northern Counties bodied lowheight Leyland Olympians made their home at Bracknell on the Reading - Bracknell - Windsor - Heathrow services 190-192. They were purchased when Bee Line was under Len Wright ownership, but this vehicle, 605 (F176LBL), sports then new First style fleetnames. It is seen in Reading on January 5th 1998. The bus later passed to First Eastern Counties. | |||

Sharing the 190 services with the Olympians was a slightly newer batch of Northern Counties bodied Scania L113CRL singledeckers. This one is pictured at Heathrow at a time when operations were still owned by Len Wright. | |||

Chiltern Rover (Arriva the Shires) and BeeLine had a joint service linking Heathrow and Wycombe for some time (74). It was slowly upgraded and interlinked with the 75 serving Maidenhead, giving the Slough-Heathrow corridor a regular service. The whole group of routes became part of the BAA Freeflow Heathrow initiative and the original Bee Line Darts were given slightly revised colours, from the original green/yellow scheme used by both companies. The Wycombe service was little altered, apart from diversion via Langley and more journeys operated by BeeLine rather than Chiltern Rover until a more radical shake up of the Heathrow services severed the Wycombe link when the Citaro fleet was introduced. Plaxton bodied Dennis Dart 206 (L206GMO) is seen on the Bath Road on the 75 Maidenhead service near Huntercombe. |

Two Leyland Lynx Mk IIs were acquired for the southern half of Alder Valley, just before Len Wright sold the operations to Stagecoach. The Lynxes were then transferred to the BeeLine operation. This one, 801 (K801CAN), is seen at Heathrow Central Bus Station April 1996. The bus was transferred to First Provinical at the end of 2000. | |||

Seen leaving Slough's Brunel Bus Station is formerly London Country SNB303 (UPB303S) acquired with the Slough operations of London Country North West. Behind is a Leyland Lynx. BeeLine acquired Lynxes transferred from Centrewest which had been used on the 607 Uxbridge - Shepherds Bush express. Centrewest acquired BeeLine from Len Wright together with Len's London Buslines operation. Buslines also used Lynxes on the Slough-Hounslow 81 route and the trailing Lynx could be from either source. | |||
