Deuce 218 again, a bit further north on The Strip and it has entered service. The initial buses cascaded down The Strip taking up service at different points along the Boulevard.

Some of the first passengers boarding 218 for its half journey to the DTC.

Enviro 244 was one of the first buses to head north on The Strip from the DTC to the SSTT - the South Strip Transit Terminal, the entire 17 miles.

The binds on the buses scroll round and 244's destination has changed from The SSTT to Bus Full. The doubledeckers chased New Flyer low floor articulated buses off the route, which frequently were full. The deckers have extra capacity, seating 80 with room for 17 standees and two wheelchairs. The buses are fitted with wheelchair ramps in both doors. The extra capacity is expected to generate extra revenue, as the route already makes a profit, the RTC expect to fund other network services from The Deuce.

Vector Media have one Enviro, 238, promoting themselves. It was one of the first four buses blocking The Strip northbound and is seen here opposite Stardust on its first complete trip from the SSTT to the DTC.
