After 208 left the official enclosure the crowd were invited to look over the wall of Caesar's Palace, on a platform provided for the purpose to view the bus launch the service on The Strip. There was a delay, so I ventured out on to the Strip to find a battery of four Enviros blocking Las Vegas Boulevard completely. A similar line up blocked the north bound Strip. At a predetermined signal, 208 swept out on to the Strip and the buses started flowing simultaneously in both directions. Another four or five buses followed immediately behind batteries on either side. Opposite Caesar's Palace, two of the Enviros head north up the Strip. |
Enviro 215, one of the first buses to head to the DTC - Downtown Transport Center - north bound opposite Caesar's.
