Carousel Buses service 102, normally operated by ageing Mercedes Citaros has had an upgrade. It has adopted the Flightline branding and livery used by Reading Buses on its routes from Bracknell, Slough and Basingstoke. When the route first started in 2004, as the A40, it was doubledeck operated with ex Armchair Leyland Olympians and the occasional ex London Metrobus. Like the Citaros, this Alexander Dennis Enviro400MMC, 609 (PS64OXF), was cascaded from the parent Oxford fleet where it was new for Oxford Brookes University services. Riding the bus on Wednesday, the on board wifi login still thought the bus was working on Oxford Brookes services, whereas it had been working from High Wycombe, where it was seen on Friday, for over a week. More refurbished buses, with increased luggage capacity for the route, are expected to follow.
