Something of a first seen on Thursday at Kiama Station, Kennedy's Bus Service Volvo B8RLE 28 (8895MO) new in 2019 with a body by Omnibus Services. No more information on the builder can be easily gleemed from the world wide web. The bus is seen at Kiama Station, having just done the run from Bomaderry, which complements the train service. Indeed Opal or credit card payment is not made by tapping on board the bus, but at the station card readers. The 737 service only stops at railway stations along the route, a peculiar arrangement and one confusing to non regular passengers. The scenery along the route is spectacular and enhanced by the panoramic views through the slender pillars in the wall of glass. Another interesting design feature is that there is a seat installed on the nearside forward of the wheel arch. Whereas in most other low floor buses this is mounted on a plinth, the Omnibus Services design has it mounted directly on the low floor. The driver chose to put a rubbish bin in the space where a passenger's feet might go, deterring the use of the seat! Kennedys are based near Bomaderry at South Nowra.
