This week's picture comes courtesy of Anthony Davis in Victoria, British Columbia on Vancouver Island in Canada. The 88 seat BCI doubledecker, looking similar to those recently imported into the UK by Ensignbus and seen at last year's SHOWBUS at Donington, is C34 (LP6955) in the fleet of CVS. Unlike Ensign's this bus is electric powered. It was leased for a year by CVS for transfers from cruise ships to the impressive Butchart Gardens, work normally undertaken by second hand British deckers. The relatively low mileage should suit the electric BCI. CVS has taken the option to extend the lease for three years, or may have purchased the bus.
