 A scene at Newport Bus Station from the seventies shows Newport's first Scanias, bothe the singledeck Metro-Scania and doubledeck Anglos-Swedish Metropolitan parked with earlier generation Alexander bodied Atlanteans.

 Newport's first stand alone Scania chassis doubledeck were unusally bodied by Marshall, 82 (JBO82W) is seen in Cardiff Bus Station in the mid eighties.

 Sister vehicle 89 (JBO89W) is seen when atill quite new.

 Newport also had some singledeck bodies built on the same Scania BR112DH chassis. Again an unusal bodybuilder was chosen, Wadham Stringer. Being chased by two MCW Metrobuses in the town is 15 (RUH15Y).

 Seen too in the mid eighties is Wadham Stringer BR112DH 17 (RUH17Y).
