 New contracts in High Wycombe in summer 2016 increased the presence of Red Eagle in the town on local services. Enviro200 MX10KNR is seen leaving the Bus station for Cadmore End on the 28C in September that year. The bus was new to Coachmasters in Greater Manchester and also ran for JPT in Manchester and Solus in Tamworth. At one point the bus was hired to Newport Transport, possibly as a demonstrator.

 In 2016 London United in the shape of United Motorcoaches took over the free Kingston University bus services with a fleet of new Wright Gemini 3 bodied Volvo B5LH buses. Pending their delivery and unchallenged by student numbers in August former Newport Optare Solo 69 (YJ57YCH) was in use in this plain blue livery and with a sticker in the windscreen. It is seen in Kingston. The blue livery is probably as used by Blue Diamond in Birmingham where it went from Newport.
