Western National Bristol LDL6G ECW 1936
Open top rides proved extremely popular at the Bristol Vintage Bus Group's July 2016 Brislington Rally. Rare 1957 ECW bodied Bristol LDL6G, 1936 (VDV753) with its extra capacity was an added attraction. It had been rebuit to opentop in 1973. Leading the trio is 1941 Brighton, Hove & District ECW bodied Bristol K5G 992 (GHT127) new to Bristol as 3315 and converted to opentop when acquired by BH&D in 1956. The middle bus is 1961 Bristol Omnibus FS6G 8579 (869NHT) new as a convertible opentop at Weston-super-Mare.
