In April 2003 MX03EJY was on display at the annual Cobham Bus Rally.

In May 2004 the Solos were both helping transport competitors and supporters to Waddesdon Manor from the Westcott Park & Ride site for the annual Race for Life. The operation was spearheaded by Motts but several buses were used from the then associated Lutonian and Red Rose fleets.
