My first encounter with Connectabus was with EXE549 at the local airport, which is surrounded by the Remarkables mountain range.

In some respects disappointing for the return was a rare appearance of Toyota Cruiser, BWC899, which apparently fills in when one of the three mainstays of the bus fleet is unavailable or journeys are lightly loaded. The Coaster became 1095 in Ritchies fleet as it appears the company took over the Queenstown operations.

The third member of the yellow bus fleet back in April 2008 was a sister to BNH112 and is seen here outside the new "upmarket" base backpakers in the centre of town.

A second view of AZZ597 is in the same street.

The final view of AZZ597 is at the quayside stop where the steam ship TSS Earnslaw will take you on a cruise of the beautiful Lake Wakatipu. On the rear of AZZ597 is this great advert for Connectabus' Routemaster tour of Queenstown and Arrowtown.
