In 2007 Christchurch Bus acquired what is thought to be the only Wright Handybus bodied Dennis Dart in the country. New in 1999 the bus first saw service in Scotland and was imported by dealer Associated Coach Sales who sold it on to Leopard in Christchurch as their 21 (BNF908), with Leopard Urban fleetnames. It became 157 with Christchurch Bus. The fleet totalled around 120 with the majority of new deliveries from 2006 being of Zhong Tong manufacture, either 39 seat single door school buses or 39 seat dual door route buses.
