The registration gives the origins of this de Courcey Travel Plaxton Excalibur bodied Volvo B10M away, Y23OXF was once in the Oxford coach fleet and has found a new role as the "City of Coventry" launching their new X6 service at SHOWBUS in 2008. |

From days gone by, the latter part of the NBC era saw Duple Dominant Express bodied Leyland Leopards and Tigers in the 'stripey' livery plying the M40. Former Oxford Tiger 107 (EBW107Y) had joined many ex Oxford buses in the Chiltern Queens newly named bus fleet. It is ironically seen here very close to the M40 at Wycombe on a Henley College afternoon contract.

Seen in Dorchester in June 2015 is Damory Coaches Plaxton Excalibur bodied Volvo B10M 7026 (R259DWL) which was new to fellow Go-Ahead subsidiary Oxford as 10 (R10OXF) for the London "espress" service. It initially went from Oxford to Go-Ahead's Diamond Bus in the West Midlands for use on National Express services and then on to Damory.

Towards the end its days Luton based Seamarks made some attempt at reinvestment in its coach fleet with this Plaxton bodied Dennis Javelin, ex Oxford Citylink 54 (K754UJO). The company got into financial difficulties with family disagreement over ownership and direction, coupled with a disciplinary hearing before the Traffic Commissioners over maintenance and service reliability led to the withdrawal of licences and the suspension of registered services. Ultimately the firm was sold to the expanding Nottingham based Dunn-Line empire.

When Oxford gave up on its X90 London express service some of the Plaxton Elite-i coaches were surplus to requirements. Several were transferred to Go-North East for the expanding Xlines network. Having been 90 (X90OXD) for the X90 service the coach has become 7153 with an appropriate plate for the work in NewCastLe - XL10NCL - where is seen in December 2021.
