In late April 2007 the second European Bus Rally organised by Konrad Auwertar, formerly of Neoplan, was staged at Sinsheim. On the Saturday of the event, the entrants paraded from the Speyer Technik Museum, through the town centre then on to Sinsheim. The two RELHs from Merseyside were amongst the last vehicles through the town. Royal Blue 2351 (837SUO) and Crosville CRG106 (AFM106B) paused and posed side by side by the main commentary point and were greeted by great applause from the assembled spectators, many enjoying the spectacle from the kerbside cafes.

This picture shows the degree of interest the event provoked with the local community.

Not captured by our photographer, Rob Passaway, but a pair of newly weds took the opportunity to be photographed in front of the British contingent. The Royal Blue RELH was the runner-up in the SHOWBUS 2006 competition for a sponsored trip to the European rally. The winning RML was unable to attend due to complications in getting the necessary transit clearance for a high vehicle across several countries.

Each entrant on the road run was posed briefly in turn opposite Speyer Cathedral for an offcial photo opportunity.

In the afternoon most of the entrants were parked up in the centre of Sinsheim, with the roads closed to normal traffic the rally entrants were dispersed around the town's shops and cafes.
