Former Midland Red South 902 became Stagecoach 14942 (A542HAC) and is seen in May 2005 at work in Exeter with Stagecoach Devon. Despite the school children signage the ECW bodied Leyland Olympian was working on city services as the window bills indicate.

Devon became host to a variety of ex London buses including Scania deckers and Leyland Titans. Here is Alexander bodied Volvo Olympian VA58/16058 (R158VPU).

A native Alexander bodied Olympian was 16601 (R901FDV) which had reached the end of its days in a yard in the grounds of the West of England Transport Collection at Winkleigh with several other withdrawn Stagecoach South West buses in August 2013. Alongside is former London VA59/16059 (R159VPU) and 34077 (S477BWC), an ALX200 bodied Dennis Dart SLF, new as Selkent SLD77. Picture ref A061 |
Another London bus with a very different history in the Winkleigh graveyard was Northern Counties Olympian 16879 (R275LGH). The bus was new as London Central NV75 and was sold via Ensignbus to Yorkshire Traction as their 619 in 2004. It joined Stagecoach when the group acquired "Tracky" that year and headed to Devon in 2010.
