East Kent followed the national trend into minibus operation with a fleet of 16 seat Transits in this rather brash livery, in contrast to the more sombre and traditional colours of the Mark 2 MCW Metrobus alongside. Back to the Maidstone & District Centenary Rally where former Park Royal bodied AEC Regent V has become the "Home Front Bus". Passing through several users after withdrawal it ended up in Bath where it was converted into a mobile museum depicting life in the forties.
