East Kent JG669, a 1930 Tilling Stevens 'Express' with Brush coachwork. The chassis of this bus was built at Victoria Works, St. Peter's Street, Maidstone. The bus served with East Kent until 1945. It was acquired by its present owner in 1967 in derelict condition from a scrapyard in Wantage.

Another view of the Tilling Stevens with a number of the entrants at the Maidstone Centenary Rally behind at the gathering point in the centre the town.

East Kent's final batch of Regent V buses were ten forward entrance Park Royal bodied examples: MFN940-949F. This is 943 having been restored to original livery in preservation.

Sister vehicle, MFN946F, survived in the fleet into the days of Stagecoach ownership. It now makes occasional special appearances, as at North Weald in 2007.

Seen leaving Showbus 2004 is this nicely preserved AEC Reliance with Plaxton Panorama Elite coachwork, WJG470J. It appears a brighter shade of red than normal was used for the paintwork.
