 In late 2021 Abellio took delivery of a number of doubledeck electric buses, all BYD D8UR-DD with Alexander Dennis Enviro400EV CITY bodies for the 63 between Honor Oak and Kings Cross. Seen at Kings Cross in June the following year is 3424 (LC71KXJ). The buses were given a lot of initial publicity for their "advanced" features. The roof skylights are visible in this shot, but not so obvious are the USB charging points and WiFi. Stagecoach Gold launched in 2007, it has only taken the capital fifteen years to catch up.
