Pininfarina had a hand in designing the newest trams on the streets of Milan when seen back in October 2015. The initial 48 (7101-7148) were built by Ansaldobreda. The seven section trams were dubbed Sirios. But there were also two batches (7501-7535 and 7601-7633) of shorter five section trams called Sirettos. This is Siretto 7608 seen at Piazza Ventiquattro Maggio on route 9.

Two route 9 trams pass, one from each batch: 7507 and 7609. The view draws attention to the fact that these trams are not double ended requiring loop tracks at route terminals.

The fourteenth century Porta Ticinese stood in the way of the route 3 tram, so through the ancient gate the tracks go, in this case bearing Siretto 7620.

Either side of the archway the tracks split so north and south bound trams take it in turn to pass through on the single tram section. This is 7620 again.
