 Swindon Corporation's first rear engined doubledeckers arrived in a batch of five Northern Counties Daimler Fleetlines over the Christmas/New Year period in 1968/69. Seen when quite new is 150 (MWV150G), four more similar buses arrived in 1970 but were built as dual door.

Swindon Corporation's preserved Weymann utility bodied Guy Arab II of 1943, 51 (DHR192) is seen on the road run from Windsor to Hillingdon Showbus at Langley's War Memorial probably in 1978. The bus went on to reside at the Science Museum's large exhibit store at Wroughton.
