By the time this PD2A entered SHOWBUS a new livery with more cream had been applied. It is seen on the morning road run to the Hillingdon Showground at Langley for SHOWBUS in the mid seventies.

All three of Swindon's Northern Counties bodied CVG6-30 front entrance deckers can be seen in this depot view, with 146 (JAM146E) in the lead. The bus was later exported and converted to open top.

Swindon's successor, Thamesdown, kept the last of the trio in pristine condition and restored to original livery, 145 (JAM145E), is seen at the Southsea Spectacular in 2001. |

Former Weymann bodied Daimler CVD6 112 (UMR112) has been preserved by the Swindon Vintage Omnibus Society for many years now. It is seen in 2000 at the Southsea Spectacular.

Ipswich's first motor buses were AEC Regent III with Park Royal bodywork in 1950. Up until then the town was served by trolleybuses. The last Regent III was 24 (EPV24) delivered in 1956. Both Ipswich and Swindon were in the throws of celebrating their centenaries in 2003 so 24 is seen alongside Swindon's preserved Daimler CVD6, 112 (UMR112) at Southsea that year. |
