Seen at Volgren's Dandenong bus building plant last Saturday was the unique Optimus bodied Yutong demonstrator, XW16NH. Yutong E units imported from China in service elsewhere in Australia have little more than the seats added on arrival as local content. It is also interesting to note on this all electric bus that it still sports conventional wing mirrors whereas cameras are rapidly becoming the norm in the UK.
