Eagle eyed regular contributor Ed Goodridge spotted Admiral Blake in Exmouth this week. Hard to miss the timeless Devon General MCW bodied Leyland Atlatean new in 1961 as DL925 (925GTA). Sadly it has lost its original registration in favour of MSJ499 before that it was ADV299A. With the recent hot weather this was certainly a treat for the lucky party on board. The nine "Sea Dog" Atlanteans were all named after famous naval figures, they were also convertible open toppers and had their roofs refitted for the winter. This bus was modelled by EFE in NBC Red Bus livery earlier this year.
