Having had the short ride on the Bristol/ECW product in last week's Picture of the Week in Altona, a bit further out another of the breed was in action on Wednesday in Geelong. Thanks to Mike of Endeavour Tours, who spent an hour swapping batteries around, former Standerwick Bristol VRLLH 66 took us for a few trips round the block in Geelong - its first outing since October. Sadly the coach is no longer a VRLLH but a unique VRTLH having gained a transverse engine and transmission from a former Sydney Atlantean. The interior is in largely original condition however and Mike takes good care of the Bristol. The coach was at one time with Tyne & Wear PTE for their port service and the yellow and cream colours can still be seen on the inside edges of the doors.
