Thanks to Matt Buytaert for this week's picture. He is on holiday in Vietnam and snapped this Hanoibus in the capital. It is thought to be built by the Truong Hai Auto Corporation, or THACO for short, who are the major bus manufacturer in the country. THACO also produce trucks and cars as well as assembling Mercedes, Volvo and Hyundai buses for the local market. They also build Kia cars in a joint venture and assemble BMWs, Minis, Peugeots and Mazdas.
After our run of electrics recently, pretty sure this one, 29B 150-88, is running on old fashioned diesel.
