The only Alexander Dennis Enviro350H hybrid in the Southern Hemisphere has already featured in Picture of the Week when it saw a year's experimental service with Sydney Buses. It has now been acquired by Torrens Transit for use on the City Connector. It is seen last Friday evening parked up at their Mile End depot, but despite its green credentials was not used on Saturday when there is a reduced service: diesel powered Ivecos and a hybrid Volvo were operating the City Connector. The Volgren bodied Volvo B5RLE, 1901 (SB79HK), wears the same livery as Enviro350H 1900 (SB43ED) whereas the Iveco/CB80s are in plain white. The Enviro's sign writing makes no obvious mention of its environmentally friendly power.
