Looking back to one of the few slightly sunny, but very cold, days last May in Leamington Spa we have Blue Diamond 30923, a Wright bodied Volvo B7RLE on contract work for National Grid. Whether the Rotala group have saddled themselves with a livery problem with their separate Red, Blue and Black Diamond networks in the West Midlands and the added relivery costs of transferring vehicles between units maybe why this Blue bus is white! A more likely explanantion is the bus was acquired at short notice from dealer stock for the contract. The sister vehicle that appeared at SHOWBUS later in the year was blue, but simply carried the Diamond fleetname. The website too simply refers to Diamond and there is no mention of the colour branding.
