This former demonstrator is thought to be unique in Australia. Not long after Brazilian company Marcopolo took over Australia's Volgren bus builder in 2017 this Marcopolo Torino bodied Volvo B7RLE was imported as a demonstrator. However the locally built Volgren Optimus held sway and no orders for Torinos materialised. Nuline acquired the demonsrator and numbered it 210 (BS07LV). It is seen in Richmond just over a week ago on the never ending rail replacement operations. Marcopolo has been much more successful on the coach front with its Audace models proving very popular. Of course unlike the Torino, Volgren did not have a premium coach body to compete with it.
