Another oddity acquired from North Western was a number of ECW bodied Bristol RELL6G buses with modified roof profiles to fit under the canal bridge at Dunham Massey. These buses replaced the famous Bedford VAL buses used on the route previously.

This standard Bristol RELL has a dual door ECW body and was bought for and is seen on the Runcorn Busway.

An poor quality image of a flat front Bristol RE and a Lodekka FLF.

A trio of Lodekkas at Rock Ferry depot around 1975. Identifiable are FLF6G DFG247 (SFM247F), centre, and LD6B DLB904 (886CFM) on the right. Regretably all three are bereft of white relief.
