Weymouth used to be the main departure port for the Channel Islands, but recent developments have seen large catamarans operating from Poole more successfully. Back in the sixties, this Southern National FLF operated one of many transfer operations to Weymouth Quay for the Channel Island ferries.

Another Ace which was about on the rally circuit in the seventies was 350 (YD9533) which is seen here at Showbus 75.

Here it is again on the Road Run through Windsor, beneath the famous castle.

The origin of this photo is unknown, but it illustrated the Showbus 74 rally programme. The destination shows the then owners, the bus itself was an L5G of 1938 which had its chassis lengthened and rebodied as an LL5G in 1955. |
