 In 2002 many bus companies and SHOWBUS celebrated Her Majesty's Golden Jubilee and Empress painted Mercedes KIW1066 gold. They brought it to SHOWBUS where it is seen alongside Wirral Bus & Tram Centre's London Routemaster, former RM1101 (KFF367) which had also been painted in a Golden Jubilee colour scheme. The doubledecker moved on to join Necrobus' Ghost Bus Tours.
