This Tilling Stevens KL6A7 with Scottish Aviation coachwork, GOU732, dates from 1949. The vehicle made several rally appearances to coincide with its 50th birthday, including SHOWBUS 99, but is seen here at the Quainton Spring event. The striking livery is that of Wulfrun of Alton in Hants.

As far as Showbus is concerned the vehicle had been displayed previously, back in 1980 at the SHOWBUS 80 event sponsored by Grey-Green at Thorpe Park when it appeared in a cream and orange colour scheme. |

A small coach from the modern era, South Coast Travel Caetano CS700 bodied Toyota Coaster BN64FKX, seen heading into London in October 2019. Caetano made a name for itself bodying the Toyota Coaster for the UK market. In the Far East and Australasia the factory produced coachwork is acceptable, but does not meet Ministry standards here. Caetano has since established itself in the full sized coach market in the UK, not least with their Levante as the National Express standard coach. The CS700 is the latest coach body for the Coaster taking styling cues from the Levante. However the Caetano/Coaster era appears to have ended with Mercedes Atego and Sprinter models in the ascendancy in the small coach market.

Case in point is this later purchase by South Coast Travel, an Unvi bodied Atego, PO15AZW, seen in Windsor Coach Park in August 2019.
