Park Royal bodied coaches were a rarity and A&D had several in a distinctive style for its London express services. East Kent had similar looking AEC Reliances too. Reliance 36 (476FCG) was numbered into Alder Valley's coach series, where other vehicles of the 1963 batch were numbered along with buses in the 400-series. It is seen in Aldershot depot alongside new Leyland National 130 (NRD130M). |

An unusual vehicle to be seen in NATIONAL livery was Alder Valley 600 (VCG600H) a Duple Commander bodied AEC Reliance used on the company's London express service, operated for years by Aldershot & District coaches in their distinctive two tone green livery. The coach is seen at the terminus in Farnham's Castle Street in the early seventies. |
