Arriva Shires ECW open top Atlantean 95
Seen as part of an Arriva display featuring the Arriva "Bus of the Future" at SHOWBUS international is former Colchester 95 (JHK495N), now a promotional vehicle for Arriva the Shires. It was converted to open top for tours of historic Colchester. It has a rare style of ECW bodywork, believed only sold to Colchester and South Yorkshire PTE. When new, the vehicles were unlicensable until a small triangular window was made in the pillar of the driver's cab, thus eliminating a potential blind spot.

Arriva Colchester Leyland Olympian 45
Arriva liveried all Leyland Olympian 45 (F245MTW) in the Colchester fleet, renumbered 5397, is seen at a bus rally on a PSV Circle tour. The company's history with Arriva has been quite checkered, initially coming under control of Arriva the Shires & Essex trading as "Arriva serving Colchester". In 2004 the operation was sold to Tellings Golden Miller, placed under the control of their Burtons Coaches subsidiary and rebranded Network Colchester. In 2008 it found itself back in Arriva ownership when TGM was acquired by Arriva, but it carried on trading as Network Colchester. Now it is plain Arriva as part of Arriva Southern Counties
