 With the closure of the associated First Hampshire & Dorset Southampton operations a number of their fleet headed north to Slough depot, many emblazoned with "cityred" branding like 47691 (SL15RWN) seen loading at Heathrow Aiport in May 2023. It had been a long time since Alder Valley's red buses had been in the area.

 Seen in Slough the following month with branding removed, but still red, was 47694 (SL15RWV) with Reading Alexander Dennis Enviro400 1204 (SN11BWD) in Newbury Buses livery and temporary Green Line branding.

 Sister vehicle 47693 (SL15RWU) was seen in Slough the same day still bearing Southampton 6 branding, but on Beeline route 3 to Uxbridge.
