Only six extra long Bristol LDL models were built, all in 1957, Bath Services received the sixth, L8450 (YHT962). Unlike the extended London Routemaster models the extra width was accommodated by a smaller side window at the rear of the saloons on both decks, rather than the ungainly one stuck in the middle of Routemasters. The bus is seen at Lawrence Hill, the company's major depot and central works for some remedial attention, probably in the late sixties.
