 Another secondhand Javelin had been acquired, 215 (YO53ZNB) which had been new to the Ministry of Defence. Technically it was built in the Transbus era, but the Profile body was still badged as Plaxton.

 A heavyweight secondhand acquisition was 203 (R437FWT), a Plaxton bodied Volvo B10M which had been new to Wallace Arnold.

 A more impressive new acqusition was 79 seat Alexander Dennis Enviro400 YX63ZXH.

 Separately this Duple Dominant bodied Bedford YMT, RGV690W, was entered in SHOWBUS international 2014 in the livery of Prince of the Road, though no reference can be found to a coach company of that name. The coach was however new to Suffolk in 1981 during an earlier era of county home to school travel.
