Blue Bus New Flyer D40LF 991
West Vancouver Municipal Transit (WMVT) is thought to be the oldest municipal bus service in North America, dating from 1912. It is the little brother to neighbouring Coast Mountain Bus in Vancouver. Its livery is very similar and in recent years under the Translink banner has been virtually identical. The company used a different shade of blue with white and an orange relief as seen on New Flyer D40LF 991, the second from a batch of nine delivered in 1999 and now withdrawn. WMVT has always used blue as its base colour and is affectionately known as "Blue Bus", its vehciles are all the more distinctive with the "roof box" moulding sporting the West Vancouver crest.

Blue Bus Orion I
Nine Orion I buses bought in 1992 - the only Orions in the fleet - were much in evidence back in August 2004. This one is hiding its fleet number, but the batch was numbered 921 to 929. The bus is crossing Grenville Street in downtown Vancouver followed by Coast Mountain Bus N3211, a New Flyer D40HF.

Blue Bus Orion I 921 & Coast Mountain Bus MCI Classic
The first of the Orions, 921, is also being followed by a Coast Mountain Bus, in this case an MCI Classic.

New Flyer D40LF 997 is seen loading in downtown Vancouver in August 2004.

Blue Bus New Flyer D60 912
Seen on the other side of the Burrard Inlet is 912, a New Flyer D60, ex Coast Mountain Bus 3001. This was one of a trio new in 1991 acquired from the same source. Later in 2009 Blue Bus acquired three D60LFR models from Coast Mountain Bus but returned them in 2018 ending the use of artics in the fleet.
