The Reseau de transport de la Capital (RTC) of Quebec has a highly standardised fleet of Novabus low floors. Seen in the centre of the capital of Quebec in July 2007 is Novabus LFS 0420.

Exemplifying the dominance of the Novabus is this line up, headed by 0320.

Quebec is the only walled city in North America. Its French heritage was protected by the British who, having acquired the city by force, allowed it to continue in its French ways. Its alternative history meant it could have been sold to the United States with the Lousiana purchase of the former French American territories - at least the RTC website might then have been in English too! Novabus 0704 is seen emerging from the city archway on the relatively infrequent route 20, whose timetable suffers greatly from congestion within the walls.

Not all of the fleet are Novabus there were some of the Novabus' predecessor: the MCI Classic. Novabus was created by a reorganisation of the transit bus division of MCI in 1993. This MCI Classic is about to enter the walled city by a different gateway from an attractive city square.
