Following on from the Dennis Tridents, BC Transit decided to buy some more deckers by this time the Trident had given way to the even more successful Alexander Dennis Enviro500. The model had already seen service in Hong Kong, Las Vegas and New York amongst others when Victoria received its first in the traditional red, white and blue livery.

Enviro500 9044 pulls away from the Government Street stand to overtake a newer parked Enviro500. The difference in rear end styling can be seen. The newer model lacks the grill with "Enviro 500" etched in it.

This rear view of 9045 displays the Enviro500 grill well.

Colourful flowers greet 9501 in BC Transit livery as it approaches this stop on Douglas Street.
