Former Tube 28 (M107XBW) appeared at Millennium Showbus, shortly after being transferred to Stagecoach Fife. It had been repainted in white, but was yet to gain Stagecoach decals.

With many bus companies involved in the operation of trains these days, the government is being persuaded to renew franchises when train/bus connecting services are offered. With Virgin Trains half owned by Stagecoach, a connecting service from Milton Keynes to Luton Airport was started, using Berkhof Excellence 1000 bodied Volvos released from the Oxford Tube by the new MAN double decks. The service was operated by Stagecoach United Counties and the coach is seen at Luton Airport.

Stagecoach Midland Red South operated more ex Tube Berkhofs on rail head connections linking towns without main line connections to the main North - South rail network. Berkhof 4829VC is seen at Millennium Showbus.

The Van Hool Astromegas on the Oxford Tube were displaced by the Plaxton Panorama bodied Volvos, most went to Scottish Stagecoach fleets. This pair, seen on Brighton's Madeira Drive in July 2019 are with Andrews of Foxton, in fact they have five of them! With P27MBC reflected in its windscreen is P26MBC. It had spent some time earlier with Stagecoach Western lettered for the X76 Glasgow - Kilmarnock service. Its Stagecoach identity is not known.
