This Alexander ALX200 bodied bus has been transferred into Oxford and initially ousted distinctive "Blackbird Flyer" marketed Darts from service 1. The bus was new as a Volvo demonstrator and was sold to JPT in Manchester as 184 (P677NOJ) whose operations were acquired by Stagecoach Manchester. The bus gained fleet number 31333 and transferred later to Oxford.

The unusual Plaxton Verde bodied Dennis Lances bought by Thames Transit passed into the Stagecoach Oxford fleet and this one is seen in the new livery departing from Gloucester Green in lovely sunshine over the 2003 New Year break. Sadly the batch of Lances was transferred to Carlisle and withdrawn after the 2005 flood damage in Cumbria. |
