Southern Vectis Alexander Dennis Enviro400 1581
Oxford received a diverted batch of four Enviro400 buses intended for Southern Vectis, the Go-Ahead subsidiary on the Isle of Wight in 2014. The urgent need arose as the company took on a rail contract for Chiltern Railways linking Bicester to Oxford prior to the resurrected rail line's completion. The buses operated in Southern Vectis livery using their Isle of Wight fleetnumber, 1581-1584, later receiing 251-254. This is 1581 (HW63FHC), seen at Bicester in June that year.
