A glimpse of the recent past of Western National with this immaculately turned out Bristol LH/ECW MUO328F seen at Showbus 97.

Seen at the Cardiff Centenary Rally in 2002 is 1254 (VOD124K), a 33 seat Marshall bodied narrow Bristol LHS6L for those narrow west country routes. The bus is of course now preserved and looks fine, except for a suspect looking NBC double-N logo.

Western National 2731 (POD830H) is a Bristol RELL6G with the third style of ECW bodywork for the chassis with a deep window and flat front. The preserved vehicle is seen at Cobham in 2002.

Chard Bus station served as an outstation for a handful of Western National buses. Alder Valley ECW bodied Bristol RELH 66 (KBL227L) on a private hire for Brunel University takes a refreshment break alongside Western National Lodekka 2060 (BDV258C). The Lodekka is in the
"quick-fix" NBC livery of Tilling green and cream with cream NBC fleetnames. The bus and the Chard services were originally with Southern National.
