Not surprisingly Wilts & Dorset had a fleet of Optare Deltas, though only a small batch of six, of which this is an example.

 Equally the Excel fleet was also small. The first delivered in 2000 was 3601 (W601PLJ), the first of two batches of four. A further four were delivered in 2002 for the aborted Poole Park & Ride service. |

It may have been the middle of winter (December 2002) but pictures in Bournemouth should include a bit of sea seen in front of this Excel.
